An eclectic selection consisting of well-kept secrets as well as timeless classics is what Waxist strives to bring in his sets. Record collector & dj based in Lyon, he started his love story with vinyl as a teenager. At the beginning exploring Jamaican reggae and Caribbean sounds but then extending his interests to more dancefloor orientated music genres from Disco, Modern Soul and a touch of House when needed. Waxist understands the crowd and brings a variety of soulful sounds, from classic boogie to rare balearic records.

Waxist pushes for coherency in his selection and his technique, inviting the crowds to dance through Boogie, Soul, even via Caribbean and Brazilian sounds. His love of varying genres has led Waxist to collaborate with various labels for reissue projects and edits like with Red Stripe Disco, Favorite Recordings and taking a lead role at SOL DISCOS for A&R. He's worked closely with Le Mellotron for his long-standing radio series Serendipity Music since 2012. His diverse mixes and deep special selections have been noted by esteemed platforms Wax Poetics and Radio Nova.
